Free interactive activities for children and families to explore wide-ranging ideas and approaches to artmaking.

The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Children’s Art Centre and Regional Services are delighted to present ‘Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour' for children and families in regional and remote Queensland.

This program has been developed to coincide with the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial and Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on display from 30 November 2024 to 27 April 2025 at the Gallery of Modern Art & Children's Art Centre In Brisbane. It features seven interactive projects produced by the Children’s Art Centre in collaboration with artists;

  • Dana Awartani (Saudi Arabia/Palestine)
  • Etson Caminha (Timor-Leste)
  • Harold ‘Egn’ Eswar (Malaysia)
  • Brett Graham (Aotearoa New Zealand)
  • Okui Lala (Malaysia)
  • Yim Maline (Cambodia); and
  • Rithika Merchant (India). 

Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour will enable children across the state to explore wide-ranging ideas and approaches to artmaking, through hands-on activities, digital interactives and video.

The Kids on Tour program provides this content free of charge to communities throughout Queensland.
