My practice utilises all media to create works that tell a story. Utilising the camera, the pencil, the brush, the clay and my surroundings, my work is a celebration of my thoughts, my play and my mind. Drawing is essential to my work and the portrait is my first love, whether captured through a lense, drawing, painting or clay. My other love is creating fabulous sculptures from found materials and clay that entice the viewer to reflect on memories of childhood. Currently my practice has increasingly included portrait work in two and three dimensions embracing the boundaries of in-situ work, installations and performance. As an arts educator I love to support my work through teaching. I am available for workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, multimedia, art history, and photography.
