It is located in a beautifully restored heritage-listed building in the heart of Portside, Maryborough's original port district.
It has an extensive navy, army and airforce display, including two Victoria Crosses, a Cross of Valour, and many other significant medals in the Gallipoli room.
It also has uniforms, historic vehicles and scale models, murals, wood sculptures and a 2000 book research library.
